Our Centreville stand is on Khan Antoun Bey Square, the open square facing Café Centre-Ville. It is an evening spot by design: we come out in the late afternoon and stay until late, which is exactly the stretch when downtown is busiest and the light is worth riding in.
The square itself is wide and level, and the streets around it quieten down once the working day ends — which is part of why we run this one after dark rather than at noon.
Come here for the sunset ride. If you want us earlier in the day, the Souks and BIEL stands open around midday, and earlier again at the weekend.

Nearby rides
Downtown and Nejmeh Square
The old centre: Nejmeh Square, the clock tower, the colonnades and the stone streets between them. Best after six, when it empties out.
Beirut Souks
Car-free, level and shaded. The place to ride if you are learning, riding with children, or out in the middle of a hot afternoon.
The waterfront promenade
Wide, flat and open to the sea for its whole length. The ride most people picture when they think about a scooter in Beirut, and the easiest one to do badly-dressed for exercise.
